Simplicity is my favorite. In life, in business and in cooking, it has been the strategy I’ve found to be most effective.
When I embrace simplicity, it frees my time and mind to do other things that I enjoy. I don’t get bogged down in busy work or tasks that take up time in my schedule.
I think simple is underrated. Just because something is more complicated, doesn’t make it better.
Let’s look at Mango Salsa, for example. It’s a simple recipe and is loaded with flavor and color. However, there is nothing plain about it.
It is sweet and spicy; the perfect balance of flavors.
With less than 10 fresh ingredients, it takes 10 minutes to prepare. It can pack a punch, depending on how many jalapenos are used, and it compliments many dishes. No matter how you serve it, it is an experience to be enjoyed.
Within my business, as a Facebook ads expert, I recommend my clients follow a simple recipe for success also.
The recipe I recommend for successful Facebook™ ads is as follows: simplicity, trust the process, and focus on the long-term vision.
Simplicity
When it comes to Facebook™ advertising, there’s no need to over-complicate the process.
Many people love to get excited about retargeting, creating multiple offers, having fancy funnels, or having the perfect pictures to use with their ads. They try to be innovative and come up with a strategy that’s new and different but the truth is, it is typically over-complicated or confuses the buyer journey.
Why reinvent the wheel when there is already a strategy and system that works? I’m not saying that there is a cookie-cutter model everyone must follow, but there are multiple proven strategies and processes for most offers that provide a great foundation to build on with your brand and content. By plugging in your brand and content into the proven structure, it eliminates a lot of hassle, guesswork, and there is a higher likelihood that you can create great results right off the bat!
In my opinion, keeping the ad strategy quite simple is the most effective way to get results you are happy with.
Trust the Process
You hire an expert to manage your Facebook marketing because they have a true understanding of the data and make adjustments accordingly so you can enjoy results without having to be in the trenches, allowing you to focus on other important aspects of your business.
With the mango salsa, you have to let it rest for 10 minutes for maximum flavor after you’ve mixed all the ingredients together. With Facebook ads, you have to let them run for a period of time while the ads algorithm determines the best ads to show the best audience while also creating a good user experience.
There is a learning period that takes time so you need to trust your ads expert and trust the process.
I can’t speak for all ads experts but when you work with me, there doesn’t need to be any micromanaging. You can trust that everything is taken care of. The experience is completely hands-off so you never need to spend hours making graphics, writing ad copy, optimizing campaigns, or logging into Ads Manager!.
Focus on Long Term Vision
Once ads are up, everything is not necessarily going to go smooth and amazing the first time around. That’s why long-term vision is so important.
Think about it this way… you have your goal for the next six months, the next year, or the next five years. How does advertising factor into achieving the goal?
Having a long-term mindset that ads are propelling you in the right direction, will help you stay consistent which in-turn, helps you move closer to your goals.
That’s my recipe for success. Implement it yourself and let me know how it turns out for you. I think you’ll be happy with the results.
